Over the past four months, we have put so much effort into this website and company! We have struggled but learned so much! We have to thank our professor, Aaron Mayer, and all of our allies to thank for all the guidance! We hope that this website is helpful and supportive!

We have so many ideas for the future! We are thinking of implementing therapy group sessions where students can volunteer to go and tell a specialized expert about how they are feeling and receive advice.
It would consist of a virtual meeting, lead by a mental health specialist, where students could share their emotions. Students would join as their varite cartoon character or a different name, of course to maintain the confidentiality. As we are embarking on this journey to create company, we are also planning for the future. We eventually want to create a curriculum program to be implemented in schools all throughout the world. Many students, especially in the United States and those in low income communities, have a hard time finding resources and mental health support in their schools.
After meeting with our allies, we found that there is a huge need for mental health support and awareness. This can help improve mental health illness and suicide rates. Students should know the mental illnesses signs and how to support their peers. We have moved on to create a plan for the future!! We are thrilled for all of you to come along with us on this journey and learn how to become mental health advocates and how to support those living with a mental illness.
- The Revolution Mental team We are five students taking a social entrepreneurship class. Our process all began with the power of a cold email. At first, it was difficult to find people's emails, get over the anxiety of sending the emails, getting responses, and finding common times to meet as a group. Thanks to our improved group communication as we gradually moved along this process everything was made easier. After shockingly getting responses, we conducted interviews with a variety of individuals within the mental health field. We met with different organizations and companies. We received feedback and are now working on improving this website! |
